Sphinxes are rare, so she can be a pretty freeloader wherever she chooses.

Odin: "WHAT NOW?" Let me tell you "what now". Any Elves that remain in Midgard become ELVANPYRES. Those with the lowest magic levels change first. Even a HIGH magic level like YOURS offers only a FEW DAYS of protection.
Odin: You Elves leave Midgard tonight! Right now! And when you're gone - you stay gone,
or you become Burning Elves. You lost all your Midgard privileges.
Odin: Alfin is free to go, BUT NOT RALF. You hear me talkin' Mountain Elf? I ain't thru with you by a damn sight!
Ralf: Awww Dammit!
Grand-Alf: I'll have Elfina bring you your stuff.
Lady Frisque: What about me? Can I stay with Ralf?
Odin: We would be honored to have such a lovely Sphinx as our guest M'Lady.
Odin: Get in the bag Elf!
