99 – No Elf Child Left Behind
The Elf Sky City is at Lake Constance and the day is ending. The last two panels are happening in the forests of the Eastern Alps where the sun has already dipped behind the mountains. They show the secret Elf child Cthulyn with her parents and Twinch. Cthulyn even gets to do an Anakin/Vader-Shadow homage with a ghost of her future self.
West-Ley: All the Fairy Rings in the city are open and Elves are returning to Alfheim. Our Sky
City should be evacuated within the hour.
Lobot-Elf: Save the ICE-CREAM MAKER!
IceCream-Elf: I'm on it!
Grand-Alf: Good! We need to get as many Elves back to Alfheim as we can before they become Vampires!
West-Ley: But there are thousands of Elves spread all over Midgard celebrating the Saturnalia!
Grand-Alf: Some we can alert thru crystal balls. For the more isolated groups we should immediately dispatch messengers. Our magic power offers a day or two of protection because Odin prefers to drive us out of this world.
Grand-Alf: Most will have time to flee, but any that do turn, like Alfin here, cannot be allowed to bring the plague back to Alfheim. We have no choice but to leave them behind in this world and then seal the portals to prevent their return to Alfheim.
Grand-Alf: Fortunately we are between breeding cycles, SO THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO ELF CHILDREN. The weak magic power of the Elflings would be no match for the curse and Vampirism would overtake them almost immediately.
Grand-Alf: I shudder to think of the HORROR . . .
